I am a registered nurse based out of the Tampa Bay, Florida area. I have been a nurse since early 2016 with a lot of experience in different specialties. When I graduated nursing school, I took my first job in Asheville, NC in a post-open heart unit. From there, I became a travel nurse in Florida and Louisiana. Traveling gave me such a unique look into nursing because it forced me to be very cognizant about the standards of care and the scope of practice in each state that I worked in. As any potential medical malpractice case, knowing the standards of practice is key in any case. I eventually landed in Nashville at Vanderbilt in the Surgical ICU where I learned a wealth of information on post-operative care using world-class techniques. Once COVID happened, I did a COVID ICU travel contract before eventually moving back to the Tampa Bay Area. I now work in Interventional Radiology which has really opened my eyes to the outpatient and procedural world.
